Superior Mechanical Strength for High-Performance Automotive Parts
Plastic parts around automotive engines operate in harsh environments with high-speed rotation from -40°C to 80°C. They require modified plastics with high impact strength, rigidity, low/high temperature resistance, and excellent oxidation aging resistance. After over 20 years of innovation, Qingdao Zhongxinhuamei has developed mature glass fiber reinforced high-temperature nylon (PPA) materials.
As a high-performance composite material based on high-temperature nylon PPA, it enables the mass production of high-precision, high-temperature resistant and high-strength parts. Compared with traditional aliphatic nylon (PA6/PA66), its mechanical strength is 20% higher under the same glass fiber content. For example, 30% GF PPA has a tensile strength of 230MPa, while traditional aliphatic nylon only reaches 190MPa, providing more lightweight solutions for automobiles.

Ultra-High Thermal Aging Performance
At 1.82MPa, the heat distortion temperature of 30% glass fiber reinforced high-temperature nylon can reach 280°C, compared with 255°C for 30% GF PA66. As engine requirements become more stringent, traditional aliphatic nylon struggles to meet 200°C long-term working conditions.
The benzene ring structure of high-temperature nylon gives it outstanding high-temperature resistance. It maintains stable performance in high-temperature, high-humidity and oil-corrosive environments, making it the preferred material for engine peripheral components.
Excellent Dimensional Stability
Traditional aliphatic nylon has a high water absorption rate of up to 5% due to a high amide group content, which seriously affects dimensional stability. High-temperature nylon reduces the proportion of amide groups, with water absorption only half that of ordinary nylon, ensuring more stable size and better precision for complex parts.
Outstanding Chemical Resistance
Engine components often come into contact with gasoline, coolant and other chemicals. Aliphatic nylon is easily corroded, but high-temperature nylon’s unique chemical structure resists most automotive fluids, expanding the application range of engine peripheral systems.
With the plasticization of metal components in fuel, exhaust and cooling systems, higher requirements are placed on material durability. General engineering plastics can no longer meet the standards, while high-temperature nylon provides reliable chemical resistance.

Easy Processing & Wide Automotive Applications
High-temperature nylon retains the excellent processing characteristics of plastics: easy molding, trimming and integrated design of complex functional parts. It also reduces weight, lowers noise and resists corrosion.
It is widely used in engine covers, switches, connectors, bearing cages, exhaust control systems and air intake devices, perfectly adapting to high-load, high-temperature and long-term aging scenarios.
