Qingdao Zhongxinhuamei Celebrates Zhangzhou Chimei's 450,000-Ton ABS Production Line Launch Key Milestone in ABS Manufacturing

Qingdao Zhongxinhuamei Plastic Co., Ltd. extends warm congratulations to Zhangzhou Chimei Chemical on the official mass production of its 450,000-ton/year ABS production line. Launched on September 8, the new facility is scheduled to reach full capacity by December, primarily serving the South China market. This expansion increases Chimei Group's total annual ABS capacity to 2.6 million tons.

Zhangzhou Chimei: Fast-Tracked Green Production

Invested byChimei Industrial, Zhangzhou Chimei was established in August 2018 in Zhangzhou Gulei Port Economic Development Zone. Its 450,000-ton ABS project broke ground in November 2019 and completed construction in just 19 months—setting a benchmark for efficient project delivery.

Future expansion plans include:

• Upgraded ABS capacity to 600,000 tons/year

• New 350,000-ton/year PS production line

• 180,000-ton/year PC manufacturing facility

Total future capacity will exceed 1 million tons, supported by high-standard safety systems and advanced environmental equipment to ensure energy-efficient, eco-friendly operations.
