FR V0 PC Resin: Properties & Application Fields

FR V0 PC resin refers to flame-retardant V0 grade polycarbonate (PC) resin. Polycarbonate (PC) itself is a colorless, transparent material with heat resistance, impact resistance, flame retardancy, and good mechanical properties at normal operating temperatures (note: it is not UV resistant).

Compared with polymethyl methacrylate (a material with similar properties), polycarbonate (PC) (and thus FR V0 PC resin) has better impact resistance, higher refractive index, and superior processability.

Physical Properties of FR V0 PC Resin

Excellent mechanical properties, high transparency, and good flame retardancy (V0 grade-compliant).
Resistant to acid and oil, but not resistant to strong alkalis.
High heat distortion temperature, good flame retardancy, and wear resistance.
High heat distortion temperature, high dielectric strength, electrical insulation, and good flame retardancy.
